Food vendor licensing and health enforcement
Weed abatement and property maintenance
Free services — home inspections, mosquito fish, and repellent wipes — are available to residents at no cost.
Police department staffing and vacancies
Measure O funding is paying for expanded police hiring, with overtime costs a concern until staffing improves.
Narcan for city employees
The commenter noted Narcan is inexpensive.
Sycamore Trail safety and park patrols
Adding bike patrols would require staffing the city doesn't currently have to spare.
City policy on federal immigration enforcement
Vision Zero implementation grant application
A $25 million federal grant request; the city's prior spending would serve as matching funds.
HR 1 cuts to senior and disability services
Multiple county service providers expect funding losses beginning July 1; Meals on Wheels and AARP grants offer partial offsets.
