Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trails Master Plan

Executive director of the Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates expressed strong support for the plan and urged the commission to forward it to City Council, citing the growth of new families in West Sacramento and the need for safe places to ride.

Also with SacABE, argued that bicycling keeps money in the local economy, that bike infrastructure is cheap to build and maintain, and that good connections to shopping and restaurants create a circular local economy.
